PIIA PUNTOLA PORTFOLIO

I am a sustainability consultant and story editor ambitiously working towards a greener film and television industry of tomorrow. On the ground-level, that means helping productions to reduce their environmental impact with practical first-hand experience in the green production methods and footprint calculation. For wider impact reaching out to audiences, I work with writers, directors, and producers to develop stories and shift narratives to better contribute to something most of us need right now: a believable vision of a world worth building.
We can stop repeating the narratives of our current extractive system and start cultivating the values and mindsets that are foundational to a better tomorrow. The emerging system is already here, we just need to normalise it. With climate narratives we can demonstrate possible futures and show how to get there.
"If climate isn't in your story, it's science fiction."
